Death by Collar

Recently we have heard more and more stories of animals being strangled by their own collars. They are being strangled at the groomers, veterinarians office, kennels, boarding home kennels, and even at home. They are getting their collars caught on fences, trees, branches, etc. At the hand of a groomer, Maria Kontoudis lost her beloved Maltese "Gizmo" when he was strangled while waiting to be groomed because the groomer did not remove his collar. Now we can prevent this with the safety collars by the Premier Keepsake Safety Collars named the Chinook Safety collar. It's namesake was the owner's dog who was strangled by its collar. If we inform people of this problem and solution, at least you would know your beloved animal is a little safer if he/she had a break away collar in case they ever got into trouble. Please protect your animal by replacing their collar.
